Agreed, we want to do this, but it's a long term goal
at this point, not<br>
a short term one. We have to make it work in the USA
first. We'll be<br>
careful not to make any design decisions that would
preclude<br>
internationalization, but if we make a mistake, please
keep an eye on<br>
it, and tell us if we're making such a mistake. :)<br>

Agreed, but with reference to Lobo's comment about about involvement
of "<span>i18n/l10n step up and help out with the initial evaluation
and selection"</span>, IMO, not so much so that is slows down the
project. We have to be careful with distractions.<br>

Re: internationalizaton and with respect specifically to Canada. Our
arts and "not-for-profit" system here is still based in large part
on different levels of government awards of grants/subsidies. Once
the project is far enough to allow for different country modding,
I'll see if I could submit for a grant to help hire a dev
knowledgeable in Canadian needs (or even supplement Joar's income if
he is able to work it out for Canadian usage) to help out for
Canadian usage. It could be that other i18n/10n groups find
themselves able to do the same, so, keeping an eye and reporting
back to the list as far as whatever progress is made at making the
code internationally ready would be appreciated.<br>
<br>
Cheers,<br>
