<div dir="ltr"><div><br></div>Hi<div><br></div><div>In setting goals for Sugar Labs this year, I made a note about putting the finances in better order, and was looking at what free software for accounting is out there. </div><div><br></div><div><div>I came across <a href="https://github.com/NYCComptroller/Checkbook">https://github.com/NYCComptroller/Checkbook</a> and also <a href="https://github.com/OpenTechStrategies/anvil">https://github.com/OpenTechStrategies/anvil</a> which wraps <a href="https://github.com/ledger/ledger">https://github.com/ledger/ledger</a> (which NPOA is intended to replace, AIUI)</div><div><div></div></div></div><div><br></div><div>I checked the mail archive and see in fall 2014 - <a href="http://lists.sfconservancy.org/pipermail/npo-accounting/2014q4/thread.html">http://lists.sfconservancy.org/pipermail/npo-accounting/2014q4/thread.html</a> - that this project has stalled out; and specifically from <a href="http://npoacct.sfconservancy.org/">http://npoacct.sfconservancy.org/</a> that Phase 0 was completed and Phase 1 - to specify a REST API - started but isn't yet complete. </div><div><br></div><div>When the 4th hire at Convervancy is made - <a href="http://sfconservancy.org/news/2016/apr/26/non-profit-problem-solver/">http://sfconservancy.org/news/2016/apr/26/non-profit-problem-solver/</a> - will they work on this so we see some progress in 2016? :) </div><div><br></div><div><div>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature">Cheers<br>Dave</div>
