Thanks very much for the update.  Have you received anything else from 
them in the past month and a bit?

In case it helps, you may have noticed the other Samsung TV source 
candidate we posted two weeks ago (see 
https://sfconservancy.org/usethesource/candidate/samsung-ln52a650-tv-round-n-of-n/ 
for details).  It shows you how to build Linux and BusyBox (in 
HOW_TO_BUILD_v7.txt) and then install them (in 
FIRMWARE_UPGRADE_WITH_UBOOT.txt) onto that Samsung TV.

If Samsung does reply, it may help to point them at those.  We look 
forward to hearing back on anything Samsung might send you!
