Good evening FOSSY attendees!

Here's a quick email with some key information for arrival to the hotel
and schedule for tomorrow.

If you are arriving by car, you can use the loading zone on the south
side of the hotel front desk: Walter Gage Residence, 5959 Student Union
Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6T 1K2. This is the address for checkin for all
guests. If you are staying at the hotel/ dorms, there is $20 a day
parking around the lodging (specifically marked). If you are commuting
in, then parking at the Health Sciences Parkade is the closest to the
conference venue [0].

TOMORROW!!

10:15 - Registration opens in the Fred Kaiser Building (KAIS) [1]. We
encourage you to come early to get your badge before the opening
remarks. We'll then proceed immediately into talks. Attendees are on
their own for lunch. You can find out what lunch options are open on the
UBC page [2].

13:30 - Opening remarks start in the Earth Sciences Building (ESB) [3].

14:00 - Talks start in Macleod (MCLD) [4] and the Civil and Mechanical
Engineering Building (CEME). [5] Both of these buildings are accessed
through the Kaiser Building so you'll walk right past the registration
table if you need directions. Talks continue until...

15:45 -  Coffee, tea, and afternoon snacks break in KAIS 2020/2030

16:30 - 18:30 - Two more sessions before...

19:00 - Conference Social!! Join us at Koerner's Pub, 6371 Crescent Road
[6] for dinner (gratis) with a cash bar if you would like an adult
beverage. Koerner's is in the northwest corner of campus, just south of
the Museum of Anthropology. Enter from the West Mall and there will be
signs.

Don't hesitate to stop by the registration at any time if you need help
or have any questions.
