Branding?

Hey,

after a few recent posts about #GiveUpGitHub on fedi, I finally
ditched that mostly unused account. And the next day, seeing the ghost
icon that replaced my avatar, my brain produced the #GhostGitHub
hashtag.

I can't tell if this is an original thought or not, but I do not
recall seeing it before. That's probably none too important.

The point is, if I phrase something as "giving up", I evoke a sense of
loss. "Ghosting", whether one thinks the practice is good or not, is
what one does with people with whom the relationship is damaged enough
that communication on ending it isn't even in the cards any longer.

Combined with the icon... well...

At any rate, if folk here like it *and* there is any question about
"ownership", I just want to make clear that I do not feel ownership
over it. Feel free to use it!

(Again, I can't even be sure if it's my permission to give...)

Man, GH really needs to become the new SF...

Jens
