google grousp instead of mailman!?

Hi,

I am happy to see this new project.
I have my own rhodecode 1.7 instance where I made some changes that I am
happy to contribute to this project.

One point though. Would you be open to the idea of using google groups (or
something similar) instead of mailman?
I think there should be an easy way to search the mail/discussion archive.
