My thoughts is that when we decide to implement anonymous (or
unauthenticated) pull requests we may reuse some code or at least ideas
from there. They're applicable to git only (for hg, we'd probably use
bundles and some of your code), but it's still a useful piece of
information I'd not want to be lost.
