Hello,
I'm subscribed to this list in digest mode - I hope this reply goes out OK....
I just wanted to let you all know that my company is leading a project in
Luxembourg to customise KwaMoja (http://KwaMoja.org) for use by Luxembourgish
NGO's (no-profit's).
I'm using KwaMoja in my companies in Luxembourg and Morocco and it exactly fits
my needs not just because it was fairly easy to integrate with OpenCart.
Flexibility means bringing specific needs of a Luxembourg Development NGO into
KwaMoja and is relatively straight forward.
There's still work to be done of course and what is being developed is in part
specific to Luxembourg needs.
Accountancy in NGO's is a tricky problem and if the NGO is involved in
development projects and other NGO's are involved, it becomes even more tricky.
I remember mailing Bradley in May 2013 as this project was starting to find out
more about where it was going and explaining that I was looking for something
for use in Europe (chart of accounts etc).
So, if anyone reading is in Europe (the UK is still "in" - no?) and "just" needs
to get their accounting in order let me know.
I'll keep this list up-to-date on progress if that's OK.
All my Best,
-Graham-
