Congratulations to Mark Wielaard who received the "Distinguished Service
Award in Software Freedom". We're so proud to celebrate an incredible
person who has contributed so much to the entire FOSS ecosystem.

As you heard from Rick of CanRepair during the keynote panel yesterday,
you can become a member of CanRepair (no charge!) on the website at
<https://www.canrepair.ca/repair-ambassador> to show your support for
right-to-repair in Canada, and get more involved.

Also mentioned during the opening remarks yesterday was the FOSS Users
e.V., a non-profit consumers association in Germany that needs
membership to enforce FOSS licensing in the EU. You can download and
mail the form [0] or fill one out at the registration desk and we'll
mail it for you. There are no obligations after you signup and nothing
to pay.  We just need 10 more signups to reach our goal!

### Saturday Morning

Registration will be open at 9:00am, and continental breakfast will be
available in KAIS 2020/2030 starting at 9:15am. Come early and grab a

### Keynote!

The keynote today featuring Charles Iliya Krempeaux, Anthony Zone, and
Django Doucet will be hosted by SFC's Executive Director Karen Sandler.
We'll discuss what the Fediverse is and why you should be there! We'll
talk about what developments we can look forward to and what challenges
the Fediverse faces in the near future.

### Tracks

Tomorrow, the Fedicon and Legal Issues tracks continue to discuss
critical foundations of our FOSS lives.  New tracks starting are Camp
KDE, XMPP and AI. There will definitely be something for you whether
it's desktop Linux, federated chat, or the all encompassing reign of AI
:)

### Schedule

We'll have printed schedules at registration in the morning, but you can
also find out what's happening the rest of the day online (we're aware
of a heisenbug bug that presents the calendar dates in rotating
languages, it goes back eventually)

### OpenWrt One

There are OpenWrt Ones for sale! As a Software Freedom Conservancy
project, each sale gives a US$10 donation to the project to support
further development and sustain the project. Find the SFC booth in the
Main Hall (KAIS 2020/2030) to purchase one or get more information.

### Quiet Room

There is a quiet room located in KAIS 3028 for those who wish to have a
limited stimulus environment. It is open during the conference hours
9:00-18:30.

A few other logistics notes:
  * You can find (or return) any lost and found items at the
    registration desk.
  * We have a sticker table upstairs with the booths. Drop off your
    lonely stickers and come stock up for yourself!
  * If you ask a question during the keynote or a talk, you might be on
    video. So be mindful if you are trying to avoid being recorded (even
    if you are wearing a red lanyard)
