Just to make a point on this.
I would hope that the project would keep in mind one of its original
goals of making the end-product workable for application on the
international scene. I am not sure how this would work, either by a
change in software preferences or added module etc. But, hopefully the
software could be made to work for, in my case, Canadian non-profits.
My point then being that when looking at codebases, keep this in mind as
well, just in case you come up with some that are already extensible.
